Welcome to Montrose
The other weekend I went to an open house at a motorcycle shop in Montrose. I happened to talk to my brother on the phone when I was there. I said I was walking around the town and he was not sure where it was. At that point I decided to take pictures to share. It’s the perfect town for my mom and Claudia. There is an old town street that has everything a window shopper could want. Antique shops, pet stores, and vintage shops with trinkets that remind me of my Grandma Alice. There is even a quilt shop. As I walked I saw dogs of all shapes and sizes. I peeked into a few shops, and of course I had to visit the pet shop and quilt shop. I had lunch on the corner at Rocky Cola’s Café. Can’t pass up a patty melt and fries. It was a nice day. I had a relaxing time.
